In Grepolis knowing what each building is for is very important since it takes a lot of time when playing this game, sometimes it’s very time consuming by just upgrading one of your buildings. So, knowing each purpose is very helpful.

1) Senate – You can find buildings that you can build in the senate including the buildings that you can’t. So this is your guide if your aiming for something.

2) Caves – caves works as a venue for keeping your silver and you can use spies through here to check on neighboring cities.

3) Warehouse – stuff in our warehouse will be protected from raids. So, I recommend that you upgrade your warehouse since you can store as much resources equivalent to your warehouse’s level.

4) Farm- this is very important since this produces food, upgrading this is equals to more food.

5) Agora – Agora is the venue for your troops, this is where the settle before a mission or things like that. Therefore this is where you can check the overview of your troops.

6) Timber camp – this is the structure that produces wood for you, upgrading this is equals to more wood.

7) Quarries – this works as a stone producer, upgrading this is equals to more stones.

Silver Mine – in silver mine, people mine for silver, expanding this structure will give you more silver in return.

9) Merchant Shop – this gives you a venue for trading, by expanding this you’ll get the chance to trade more supplies everytime.

10) Oracle – this works as your watchtower you can catch spies with this. This foretells if an enemy is coming.

11) Temple – this structure allows you to pick a god to worship for, each god has special powers that could help in different ways, they can also send you divine units. The higher the expansion of this structure the better the divine favor you will get.

12) Lighthouse – this increases your units speed by 15%, because with this they’re guided when they’re on a mission especially at night.

13) Library – by building this you get 12 more research points, therefore this allows you to research some more stuff on the Academy.

14) Academy – in academy, this allows you to research more on every improving the skill of your troops like defense and attack for example.

15) Harbor – this allows you to create units that could attack and transport on water. the higher the expansion the faster the units will be created.

16)Walls – this greatly improves your defense, by expanding this you will receive a higher defense for that matter.

17) Divine Statue – by creating this, this increases the divine favor produced in a temple. Therefore this is in partner with your temple without the temple this is worth nothing.
