Grepolis Guide: Archers and Slingers
By now I think you should have at least near to these levels or numbers. With these numbers I think that you’re off to a good start.
Senate lvl 4
Timber Camp lvl 7
Quarry lvl 3
Silver Mine lvl 5
Warehouse lvl 3
Farm lvl 4
Academy lvl 1
25 Swrodsmen
In my previous post, once you finished your 25 swordsmen, use them for raiding so that you could start gaining resources. After that you could start building your Academy and focus on researching for Archers and Slingers.
Since archers and slinger are cheaper, they could beat catapults, I would recommend 15 slingers is to 1 catapult, where actually the cost on 15 slinger is much more cheaper compared to 1 catapult. So I think it would be fair to compare them that way.
Down side for slingers is, slingers has low carrying capacity unlike archers, so I would recommend when raiding, you should carry archers, while slingers could possibly be good at destroying stuff, therefore they could be good on destroying cities but not good in raids. Another good point on slingers are they can be created in a faster span of time. But of course I’m not taking the catapults out of the equation I’m just pointing out that too much catapults is not practical. For me, catapults are made so that walls can get destroyed.
Archers can be good both in raiding and in defense, that’s why a lot of players create massive amounts of archers, at first i thought that archers aren’t as effective as compared to evony but they actually are very useful too.
Though somtimes it’s very frustrating most especailly when you’re waiting for your structures to finish upgrading. This game is very dependent on raiding most especially for early games. It’s hard to establish your resources. Though of course in games such as these it takes a lot of time to get stable economically.
Since it won’t be a lot of challenge for us gamers if it’s easier. Anyway, on the later game you’ll get to appreciate your efforts anyway. Just make sure you get to read guides one time or the other. Most especially when you just started playing games such as Grepolis.
