Advent Calendar Event

Grepolis is celebrating with everybody this Christmas! So, as their way of celebrating with us, they decided to create the “Advent Calender” event. The Advent is called “the Advent” because it’s the coming of Christ.

This is event started on December 1 up to December 24th, which is the Christmas Eve.  Grepolis will be giving out prizes all over the ocean. But of course you have to sail the oceans so that you could find the treasure.

During the first week, Grepolis observed that everybody was having the hard time, realizing how big the ocean is. They decided to give out hints on how to find the treasure. Mind you, that there are also fake treasures, therefore locating the right one is not easy. So, I advice you to stick to the hints so that your voyage won’t result to nothing.

The hint appears on the bottom-right side of your screen, looking like a newly opened gift in red color. Then you will see a text below like Ocean 78 for example. The numbers change that’s why I just put it as an example.

You might be asking what do the numbers mean? Let me explain it to you, Grepolis added this because they had feed backs that it’s very to find the gifts. Therefore they installed some hints so that the search will become a little easier, just a little.

We’ll take Ocean 78 as an example, the numbers shown are actually coordinates, which are the X and Y axis of the map, therefore the “7″ works as the X axis, While “8″ is for the Y axis. Since the map is using the hundredths that would mean that the gift is along 700-799 of the X axis and 800-899 of the Y-axis.

It’s still a big place to find but at least, we know where to search for the gifts. Happy Holidays!
